If you generally avoid taking photos of yet another ’57 Chevy or 1969 Camaro, what do you do at one of America’s biggest Camaro shows, the Camaro Superfest held in Ypsilanti’s Riverside park? Well, the truth is that at a show like that there are some very special ’69s worthy of recording for posterity, but I know that you already have a pretty good idea of what the various generations of Camaros look like. While I have a great time looking at cars and talking to enthusiasts at Camaro and Mustang and Mopar meets and shows, there can be 400 or more cars at a large regional event and you can’t take pictures of every single car, so I look for things that I think our readers will find interesting. So at this year’s Camaro Superfest (I keep wanting to call it “Camarofest”) when I was shooting the nice selection of Indy pace car replicas at the show (to be covered in later posts) and I noticed the large number of cars with vanity plates, it occurred to me that you’d rather see a license plate on a purple Z/28 that reads PRPLZ28 than just another purple Z/28. Click on the links above to see the following personalized plates (and their respective Camaros, of course): BAQNBLK, 426HPSS, ITZBACK, ALOHABR, UNRULIE, SSSEEYA, PRPLZ28, XTREM2S, RX PWR 93, 3GIROC, G4MEOVR, BAD35TH, FALLYOU, HOT99SS, GOLDSS, 35SS02, 93 INDY, HERSSRS, SS45ANV, and BLUE Z28. Frankly, I’m surprised that the owner of that white Z/28 got FYOUALL past Lansing.

"...I've been over to Cars In Depth on many occasions. Barring the whole 3D thing which drives me up the wall (that's a personal thing, though), I like the content, the writing, and the simple formatting. You do a great job over there, and I am impressed."
