Orphan Cars: Austin Healey “Bugeye” Sprite in 3D Video

Start the YouTube 3D video player. Click on the 3D icon in the menu bar to select 2D or your choice of stereo 3D formats.

If you hang around a car show until the very end, not only will you get to see who wins the trophies but you’ll also get to see the cars being driven. Even trailer queens need to be driven on and off their trailers. So I stay late at car shows in order to get at least some video of the cars in action. Going through our YouTube channel there are a number of videos from last year’s Orphan Car Show in Ypsilanti that never got posted to Cars In Depth. The Orphan Car Show is held every year in Riverside Park and the show is affiliated with the Ypsilanti Automotive Heritage Museum, itself a repository of orphaned brands like Hudson, Kaiser Frazer, Tucker and Nash. There was a nice contingent of British cars, including this lovely red Austin Healey Sprite. Has there ever been a cuter car than the bugeye Sprite?
