We’ve already shown you 3D video shot when Chevrolet introduced the all-new 7th generation Corvette, the first Vette in decades to carry the Stingray name (actually it’s the first, period, since the C2 was called the Sting Ray, note the spelling difference). Conditions at the debut, though, weren’t ideal for video so when I spotted the new C7 Corvette spinning, brightly lit, on a turntable at the 2013 Chicago Auto Show I grabbed this. Though people have been sniping at the new Vette’s styling since the introduction it’s been growing on me. It’ll be a hit with fiftysomethings with gold chain as well as 13 year old boys.
