The Old Car Festival held every year at Greenfield Village, in Dearborn, Michigan is a special car show. To begin with it is one of the oldest, literally and figuratively, car shows in the United States. Literally, because this is the 63rd edition, the first having been held in 1950. Figuratively because the Festival is open only to cars built before 1933. From the steam era to the Ford V8 Deuce Coupe. It’s also a special car show in that you can see the cars being driven, at close to their normal speeds, since Greenfield Village has its own system of paved roads and people who bring their cars to the show are encouraged to drive them on the Village grounds.
