It’s hard for a car guy like me to keep the tractor brands straight, in part because International Harvester has made and sold tractors under a variety of names. In 1902, IH bought McCormick, the company founded by Cyrus McCormick, who invented the mechanical reaper. Subsequently, tractors made by International have borne the International Harvester, McCormick, McCormick Deering and Farmall brands. The McCormick Deering Farmall F20 was an upgrade to the original Farmall introduced in the 1920s and it was marketed as  the “Increased-Power Farmall”.
