Cars are cool but it’s people who make car culture. We’re sad to announce that Cars In Depth contributor Marty Densch’s wife, actress Colleen Burns, passed away last Friday, after an illness. Marty’s and Colleen were married for 36 years. Marty’s a good guy and without him, this site wouldn’t have gotten off of the ground. Our thoughts and prayers are with Marty and his and Colleen’s families. In addition to her husband, Colleen Patricia Burns is survived by her aunt, Patricia Huber of Alexandria, VA, numerous cousins, and her beloved cat, Bernie. A memorial mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Rd., Beloit, WI. Visitation will be Thursday, June 17th, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates funeral home , 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Memorials may be given in her name to the Colleen Burns Scholarship Fund in care of the Stateline Community Foundation.
What folks are saying:
"...I've been over to Cars In Depth on many occasions. Barring the whole 3D thing which drives me up the wall (that's a personal thing, though), I like the content, the writing, and the simple formatting. You do a great job over there, and I am impressed."
