You'd be smiling too if you owned and drove one of these.

We’re going to close out Summer of Lincoln Love Weekend with this spectacular 1939 Lincoln Continental, on the grounds of the Edsel and Eleanor Ford Estate. Fitting location since the Eyes On Design show is based on design and the Continental was Edsel’s baby, his everlasting contribution to automotive stylilng. Andrew F. Johnson (warning: good content but annoying music that, fortunately, you can disable) was the ur father of automotive styling but Edsel, due to his influence, sense of style and wisdom in hiring Bob Gregorie to start a styling department at Ford Motor Co. stands shoulder to shoulder with Harley Earl and Virgil Exner as a pioneer of automotive design.
