The Skid Marks Racing Neon won the overall victory at the American Irony LeMons race at Gingerman Raceway in western Michigan. Even though the Michigan LeMons races are often named in reference to the Motor City, Gingerman is near South Haven, far closer to Chicago than to Detroit. Maybe someday the LeMons organizers will schedule a race at Waterford Hills in SEMI, not SWMI. Nonetheless the race was in Michigan and perhaps appropriate, both major winners were American cars, with Zero Budget Racing’s 1982 diesel powered Chevette winning the Index of Effluency award. Here are over 100 stereo pairs shot at the event by the eminently bribable Judge Phil.
