Ken Lingenfelter’s collection of about 180 special interest cars doesn’t include a large number of Porsches. He’s got way more Corvettes than Porsches. Heck, he has more Ferraris than Porsches. However, despite that fact that he personally likes Chevys and Ferraris, the Porsches in the collection demonstrate, like the rest of the cars there, a great deal of thought. This is not Tammy Allen’s willy nilly potpourri. Of the 140 cars in the Collection’s display (the remaining ~40 cars are stored elsewhere, including some down at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering’s shop in Indiana) there were only 5 Porsches. But what Porsches they are: the Carrera GT supercar, the legendary 959, a gorgeous white 911 930 Turbo “Slantnose”, a 944 Turbo and a Cayman S. If you’re only going to have a handful of Porsches, that’s a nice handful.
