We’ve looked at the more “mundane” cars in the Lingenfelter Collection, if you can call such perfect examples of incredibly collectible muscle cars mundane. Now it’s time to turn to the Collection’s bling, the exotic supercars. Like the rest of the collection the exotics show some thought, with a broad range of marques represented. We’ve already featured the Porsche Carrera GT in the post on Ken’s Porsches. His Lamborghini Reventon and Bugatti Veyron have had their own posts here on Cars In Depth earlier this summer, and I’m including those photos in this gallery as well. Other exotics on display were: Vector M12, Nissan GT-R, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera, Bentley Continental GT (all in black), Ford GT, BMW Z8, Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren (the only M-B in the Collection as far as I can tell), and a Saleen S7 Twin Turbo. While it’s not exactly a high performance supercar, I’m including the Rolls-Royce Phantom sedan in this group. It’s in the same price range and it’s on display at the Collection in the same room as the exotics. Not a bad choice of cars to choose from – and we haven’t even gotten to the Ferraris yet.
What folks are saying:
"...I've been over to Cars In Depth on many occasions. Barring the whole 3D thing which drives me up the wall (that's a personal thing, though), I like the content, the writing, and the simple formatting. You do a great job over there, and I am impressed."
