I haven’t been able to find any Chrysler Corp. brand newsreels from the 1920s or 1930s but I did find some very historical ads from 1957. That year was the introduction of Virgil Exner’s “Forward Look” cars that shook up the industry. The tag line used (though they didn’t use the phrase “tag line” then) for Plymouth in 1957 was “Suddenly It’s 1960”. Here is a selection of the ads they used that model year. A number of them were broadcast live as part of variety and talk shows.
