2012 NAIAS: Chrysler Cutaway Engines

It’s not an auto show if there aren’t cutaway engines, transmissions and even complete cars. We liked cutaways long before we started working with 3D but cutaways were virtually made for shooting in 3D, particularly the modern cutaways that have been machined to expose parts at a variety of levels, so the 3D results are almost spine tingling. Unfortunately, Fiat/Chrysler likes to put their engines in acrylic display cases so please excuse the funny reflections.
