Sorry for the light content lately but I’ve been busy processing video and photos from the Detroit Grand Prix practice sessions and races. One nice thing about having the race return to Belle Isle was that it gave me an opportunity to shoot 3D, particularly 3D video, at a car race. This video was shot during the second practice session for the Indycar racers on Friday before the race. It was shot in the same section of the track that started to brake up early in the actual race so the cars during practice might have been going faster than during the race. For a first try, I think the 3D came out acceptably well. I’m still fiddling with alignment so I hope that the later videos we put up from the race will be even better. I’m going to call this an exclusive because I didn’t see anyone else with two lenses shooting the event.
