Based on Chevy's SuperSport Roadster concept car, the hit of the 2000 Detroit Auto Show, the SSR went into production in 2004. Eventually equipped with the LS2 Corvette V8, the SSR's muscular retro styling with a nod to Chevy's revolutionary 1950s pickups, sporty performance and its novel retractable steel roof attracted enthusiastic owners. With 24,000 SSRs built from 2004-2006, the SSR will remain collectible for years to come.

Our unique embroidery design process creates a realistic 3D look that captures the distinct styling elements and fine details that make up this beautiful, sporting truck. Your choice of four SSR embroidery designs is embroidered on a premium made in the USA varsity jacket. A large, ~8" wide image of the car is embroidered on the jacket back, and a 3.5" wide image is embroidered on the left chest. For a slight fee we can add custom lettering on the back or on the front.

The varsity jacket is made with a heavyweight melton wool body with top-grain leather sleeves and trim. It has a quilted lining, snap closures and an inside pocket.
