Truly a work of art,
the exterior of this chuppah is white bengaline.
The valances, also of white bengaline,
have scalloped edges with sky blue satin piping.

Appliqued in gold satin in Hebrew on the outside
of the valances is the phrase taken from Jeremiah 33:10-11,
used in the wedding blessings and traditional wedding songs.

The interior of the top panel is lined with sky blue satin,
appliqued with a gold and white Magen David,
surrounded by a ring of trapunto quilted Hebrew
lettering from the wedding blessings.
